Davey Crocket Trip

Last weekend we took a little trip to visit the birthplace of Davey Crocket. It was nice to get away and take a relaxing break from the business of life.  It was a perfect weekend for riding. This was the first time this summer that we have been able to go on a motorcycle camping trip. It was a well needed break. Day 1: We stayed at Davey Crocket State Historic Park. It has been a long while since we stayed in a State Park. I had forgotten about the lights and noise that accompany this type of camping. The hosts were very nice. We were the only ones camping there with motorcycles.  Both of our neighbors said they rode bikes but didn't have them there. One of our neighbors offered us smashed pop cans so we could use them as kick stand plates. This was quite helpful since we had to park on loose stone.  Him and his wife were very nice. So, we learned that grandbaby #2 will be a girl! We are so excited for Conrad and Heather!  BOOM **  HERE  COMES THE PRINCESS!  Can't wait till she arrives in February!
